In the beginning......
Prior to jetting off on my Honeymoon in 2000 I bought a second hand Canon SLR to document the 21 day tour of Bangkok, Sydney, Uluru (Ayers Rock), Alice Springs, The Great Barrier Reef and Perth. I shot over 1250 photographs and spent almost as much on developing the rolls of film as I did on the Honeymoon. Photography became a wonderfull pastime along with my eager attempts to become a famous guitarist.... two years later Peter was born, all hopes of living life on the road gigging from city to city faded as this little guy took over our lives and I began to photograph every little detail of his first few years. When Abbie arrived in 2005 it started all over again. Needless to say at the age of 7 and 4 they are now more willing to run when they see me with the camera......
In 2008 a very good friend of mine asked me to Photograph his wedding. I did what any good friend with a camera would do..... said no about 15 times. Eventually I gave in and agreed. In allowing me to capture their special day they gave me the confidence to start a new career in Professional Photography. Without their faith I would be still taking photographs of family and friends as a hobby not a profession.....
