Photographing Children

I never grew up... I started out in my college years studying animation. I am that Uncle that sets the kids hyper and goes home. I never thought it was much of a talent to be honest but when it comes to bonding with kids and earning their trust it has proved invaluable. An 18 month old and one strange man with a big camera and lens in a studio is not a great recipe for a natural photograph. That is why I go to you. I arrive in their world and when they are comfortable and relaxed only then will I start. Seven years of photographing my own kids has taught me one valuable lesson... they're in charge.

Photographing Adults

You cannot force a natural picture. Models take years to fine-tune their emotions and poses to be able to switch it on and off at will. Most people generally hate their picture being taken. If you are not relaxed and at ease it shows. My aim is to take the photograph from the inside. I want your personality to shine through.
I work with the latest digital equipment and have lighting / portable backgrounds which enables me to take great shots on location.

I also offer a number of production services for all my work including full professional printing services, from one off prints, enlargements and framed prints. I also specialise in the production of professionally printed photo books and lifestyle albums.
